Morgenster Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Liquid Gold

2006 is definitely the year of Morgenster. With L'Extravergine's Best Certified Quality Blended Olive Oil in the World award already under their belt, Morgenster can add two more accolades to their list. They recently won Gold at the LA County Fair ( for the 3rd time ), and walked away with first prize in the Intense Fruity category of the renowned L'Orciolo d'Oro Competition - the 8th consecutive year that Morgenster has received an award, making Morgenster the shining light of the now thriving South African olive oil industry.

Morgenster Estate in Somerset West continues to build on the tradition of success. The picturesque farm with its oak lined avenues, breathtaking views of the mountains and close proximity to the sea, create an irresistible combination of natural elements.

When owner Giulio Bertrand took ownership of Morgenster during his supposed retirement, he was inspired by the natural beauty and began dreaming of the olive groves and rolling vineyards of his native Piedmont.

Says Giulio: "It became my dream to produce the very best extra virgin olive oil and red blends at Morgenster, and now I am really fortunate to be able to witness those dreams coming to fruition."

Due to sustained growth in the local olive oil market and combined with developing international distribution, the Morgenster Extra Virgin Olive Oil was practically sold out last year!

The Morgenster Product Range is available at selected Delicatessens, Caterix, Pick ‘n Pay, Spar and Shoprite Checkers stores in the Western Cape, greater Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, the Eastern Cape, and now available in Natal and the Lowveld.
