Morgenster Wine Cellar

Morgenster Estate in the Western Cape, just 35 minutes outside of Cape Town, specialises in four Bordeaux red wine cultivars; Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. More recently, Morgenster also planted small quantities of Italian varieties Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. Director and Wine Consultant Pierre Lurton (a name synonymous with Bordeaux) works in tandem with resident Winemaker Henry Kotze and viticulturist Bob Hobson, to offer to Morgenster's customers the ultimate best in a red blend.

The Morgenster wine labels have not only established themselves in South Africa but also on the international market, being exported to the UK, Europe, North America, Canada, Scandinavia as well as the Far East.
